Count Peek
Long-press the table to reveal a hidden snapshot of the running count, true count, decks remaining, and player edge.
Count Peek is a hidden easter egg built into the table. Long-press the felt to reveal a translucent popover displaying real-time card counting metrics. There is no toggle in Settings and no visible indicator that the feature exists.
How to Use
Long-press anywhere on the table felt. A popover appears immediately with a snapshot of the current count data. The values are frozen at the moment you press, they do not update while the popover is visible.
Lift your finger and the popover disappears.
What It Shows
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Running Count | Net Hi-Lo count since the last shuffle (+1 for 2-6, 0 for 7-9, -1 for 10-A) |
| Decks Remaining | Estimated decks left in the shoe |
| True Count | Running count divided by decks remaining |
| Player Edge | Estimated player advantage as a percentage |
Penetration Matters
The accuracy of the true count depends on how deep into the shoe you are. Deeper penetration means a more reliable count. See Shuffling & Deck Penetration for how each dealer table sets its penetration depth.
Why an Easter Egg?
Count Peek rewards curious players who explore the interface. Keeping it hidden preserves the clean table layout for everyone else while giving card-counting enthusiasts a quick way to check their math.
