Dealer Tables

Five dealers, five tables, five levels of difficulty. Choose your challenge.

True Count features five distinct dealer tables, each with its own rules, personality, and level of difficulty. You start at Jean-Luc LaChance's beginner-friendly table and unlock tougher tables as you level up. Every table tells a different story, from training wheels to a prestige challenge that will test everything you know.

Tap a dealer's avatar at the top of the screen to open the dealer selector. Each dealer's portrait shows their table setup at a glance. You can always return to any previously unlocked table.

Rule Mechanics

For an explanation of how each rule works (split mechanics, payout calculations), see the Rules Reference. For dealer hit/stand logic, see Dealer Rules.

The Dealers

Jean-Luc LaChance

The charming French tutor who deals with a warm smile and even warmer odds. Jean-Luc's table is where every player starts, and where the game makes sure you feel welcome.

Training Table

Jean-Luc's table is designed to teach. Hints default to on and the 2-deck shoe with 85% penetration is the most player-favorable setup in the game. With a minimum bet of 5 credits, your 1,000-credit starting bankroll gives you plenty of runway.

Czarita Fortuna

The elegant Eastern European dealer with a regal poise and sharp eyes. Czarita runs a fair table, standard casino conditions, no more training wheels.

Standard Casino

Czarita's table reflects real casino conditions. The 4-deck shoe is standard. Hints default to on to reinforce basic strategy while the rules start pushing back.

"Dice Man" Jack

The no-nonsense Vegas veteran who has seen it all. Jack deals fast, talks little, and expects you to know what you are doing. His table is where the game starts playing against you.

The Turning Point

This is where restrictions tighten: doubles are limited to 9-11 only, and hints are available but off by default. You need to start making your own decisions.

Lady Lux

The sophisticated private-club dealer who works behind velvet ropes. Lady Lux does not offer hints. She does not offer insurance. She offers you the chance to prove you belong.

No Safety Nets

Lady Lux strips away every crutch. No hints, no insurance, no double after split. Doubles are restricted to 10-11 only, and penetration drops to 65%. You need to know basic strategy cold to hold your own here.

Aunty "Lucky Lei"

The warm Hawaiian host with a flower lei and an easy laugh. Do not let the aloha spirit fool you. Aunty runs the toughest table in the house, and she knows exactly what she is doing.

Prestige Challenge

The 6:5 blackjack payout alone adds nearly 1.4% to the house edge compared to the standard 3:2. Combined with 8 decks, 50% penetration, and no player-friendly options, this is the hardest table in True Count. Reaching Aunty's table is a status symbol. Surviving it is another matter.

Choosing a Dealer

The dealer selector appears at the top of the game screen. Tap any dealer's avatar to view their table setup and switch tables.

  • Each dealer shows their name, table color, and key rules under their portrait
  • Locked dealers display the level required to unlock them
  • Your current dealer is highlighted in the selector
  • Switching dealers takes effect on the next hand

Table Access

You can always return to any previously unlocked table. Unlocking Lady Lux at Level 50 does not mean you have to play there. If your bankroll takes a hit, drop back to Jean-Luc's table, rebuild, and try again when you are ready.

The minimum bet for each table is a floor, not a ceiling. You can bet any amount above the minimum, up to your current bankroll. The dynamic chip system adjusts denominations based on your bankroll regardless of which table you are playing.

Level Up to Unlock

Table unlocks are tied to your Player Rank. Every hand you play earns XP, and each level brings you closer to the next dealer. See the Player Rank page for full details on the XP system.
